For many years now I modeled Pearl as a mix between Linux Mint / Ubuntu for the system level workings. In short Ubuntu is used as the Linux Mint backend as well but like the looks of Linux Mint..acually I love Linux Mint and their awesome developer. Now as for Ubuntu..their not ranked so high for no reason. Very stable is why they are a big part in Pearl’s exisistance. Not to mention the security of the system itself is maintained by them as all derivitives from Ubuntu is. What was lacking was the look and feel of Mac OS X as the main layout as Linux Mint is more like a Windows layout. Also I liked OS X in the Snow Leopard days so I keep that option inside Pearl on all releases to acually come pretty close to what Snow Leopard was back in the day. I’m not about the FLAT look which Linux has been on that kick for some time now can’t wait till their is something to replace that one day. To me some themes are so flat all windows get lost inside each other.. yuck. That being said, thats why everyone will soon migrate to Linux from both Mac and Windows and that is the users choice. You can make your own Linux with the tools we provide you on all of our releases. Currently we use wasta-remastersys to create our images.

Paragon was a third-personmultiplayer online battle arena video game. In a match, ten players were divided into two teams. Each player assumed control of a ’Hero.’ Each hero had their own basic attack and possessed a set of four abilities composed of active attacks or maneuvers or passive buffs that helped them or their teammates.[4][1] Different heroes had different skills and weapons. For instance, TwinBlast, an offensive hero, primarily fires two pistols and throws grenades, while Muriel, a defensive hero, aids her allies with a shield.[5] Heroes came in ranged and melee classes. Each hero had an ultimate ability; for example, ranged hero Murdock can fire a massive laser with infinite range. Both teams had minions, which jog toward their opponents’ bases and support the heroes. Super Minions entered the lanes upon destroying the enemy inhibitors.[1]
When players killed an enemy hero or minion or destroy an enemy tower, they gained experience and gold. Experience allowed players to level up and unlock or upgrade abilities. Just before a match started, players could choose a deck of cards that allows players to use gold to purchase upgrades such as health boosts and strength-enhancing artifacts for their heroes. Players could use a default deck or build their own when not playing a match.[6] Cards and decks were divided into five different affinities. Each deck had two affinities, and had to contain cards with either of those affinities.[3] Chests (loot boxes), which contained cards, could be earned through rewards from completing matches. Players could also use real-world currency to boost their reputation points and experience points.[5] According to Epic, the game was not pay-to-win. As a result, players may only purchase cosmetic items with real-world currency or coins found within loot chests.[7] The game also featured a replay system, which allowed players to spectate matches.[8] The game regularly added new heroes and edited the main battle map through updates.Development[edit]
Paragon was in development at Epic Games. According to executive producer John Wasilczyk, the team was given the chance to ’make anything’ and had a lot of creative freedom when they started the project.[9] One of the main goals for developing the game was to introduce action elements into the genre. To achieve this, the game features gameplay similar to a third-person shooter, and the in-game characters were designed to possess mobility skills. For example, characters like Khaimera have the ability to leap and strike while Kallari possesses the ability to do a double backflip.[10] The team also focused on verticality while developing the game’s maps, which allowed them to turn the moments shown in MOBA CGI’s trailers into an actual gameplay experience.[9] According to Steve Superville, the game’s creative director, the maps were designed to ’[shape] like a bowl’ so that players can look across the map easily when they respawn, observe the battle situation and plan their attacks strategically. Upon release of Epic’s Fortnite’s ’Battle Royale’ mode in late 2017, Epic decided to reduce the development team supporting the game in favor of Fortnite, as Paragon’s limited growth did not meet expectations. Western Digital and Seagate both offer a variety of pocket external hard drives with differences in capacity and connectivity. We prefer the colourful designs of Western Digital’s My Passport range (Amazon), though Seagate’s Backup Plus Portable drives (Amazon) aren’t bad looking either. While Seagate may offer 5TB of storage here instead of Western Digital’s 4TB, the latter is cheaper - it’s a matter of personal preference.
However, if speed and security are what you’re looking for, the WD Passport SSD (Amazon) maximum capacity of 2TB can be encrypted with 256-bit AES using WD’s security software. While Seagate’s SATA drives have this capability, their comparable Fast SSD (Amazon) does not. The latter also opts for a USB-C cable instead of a traditional USB, which may irk some users.
In our review of Seagate’s Fast SSD, we noted that ’
at smaller sizes, the Fast SSD is a little more expensive than the competition. Yet, if you’re looking to buy in on the 1TB or 2TB models, the difference between how much Seagate’s offering will cost you and that of the competition is genuinely staggering.’
If cables just aren’t your thing, Western Digital also offer wireless versions of their Passport range in up to 4TB (Amazon), with built-in SD card readers. This is a field that Seagate is yet to enter.Desktop
Western Digital wins out when it comes to larger capacities, offering its My Book Duo (Amazon) with 20TB of storage in either a RAID 0 or RAID 1 configuration, along with plenty of connectivity. By contrast, the best Seagate can muster is 10TB of storage from the single-drive Backup Plus Hub (Amazon) or Expansion Desktop. To the average person, either company’s drive would be way more than enough storage for photos, videos, music and the odd document backup. If you’re looking to do 4K or even 8K video editing, or something else equally storage-intensive, Western Digital is your best bet.
Another edge that Western Digital has is their My Cloud (Amazon) line. Plugging directly into your Wi-Fi router, the drives allow users to backup their memories directly from smartphones and other devices using a companion app. Seagate are currently without a similar product since the release of their Personal Cloud back in 2017.Network-attached storage and home theatre

Our review of the Western Digital’s My Cloud Home concluded that ’There’s room for improvement but the My Cloud Home is absolutely a compelling option to consider. Though the software powering the experience does come with a few freckles, it still manages to offer a degree of ownership, control and consolidation over your digital footprint that sells itself. It’s not quite a NAS nor is it quite a portable hard drive, but it is dead-simple.’
